Our hardback journals are works of art in themselves. Covered in goatskin or calf leather and bound using traditional hand-binding techniques, they are filled with high quality deckled edge pages suitable for pencil, biro, pen and ink or fountain pen. They all feature hand-stitched silk head and tail bands, and a marker ribbon. Small sizes are ideal for that special notebook or secret journal, larger sizes are great for memorial books, guest books or sketchbooks. Perfect for displaying somewhere!

The medieval wrap is our bestseller. Our softback and wrap journals are beautiful limp books inspired by functional medieval bindings. The leather is beautifully pliable hand-dyed cow hide and the books are filled with high quality deckled edge pages suitable for pencil, biro, pen and ink or fountain pen. They all come with a marker ribbon and complementary coloured endpapers. Brilliant travel journals, they are happiest being carried around and grow more beautiful as they get battered.

We offer a very affordable embossing service allowing you to have initials, names, patterns or designs embossed onto the cover of your book.
